I think most women would like to be a princess! Or at least treated like one!

Since hearing she has gradually become convinced that once she was a rich and beautiful daughter of a powerful sultan (or sometimes it's a southern belle) and I was her personal bodyguard and servant whom she tormented mercilessly - and now she has to wash my socks. Lol.

Ur comment just reminded me lol
This is hilarious!

...But hold on, provided that this is all true...what were your socks in that other life?

I hope you don't mind guys but I thought I could share another video here. I've tried something different tonight and thought I could look for some opinions. I must thank Wes and his beautiful music for inspiring me, he made me want to try something a bit softer and not too "electric blues rock with a lot of distortion"-ish.

Not sure what opinions I can give Carl, it was superb. I wish I could just jam my own stuff like that instead of doing covers, but it always comes off rubbish. Have got a couple blues/jazz books that shows you how, but I normally get frustrated and start playing coldplay or something instead.

Saying that I wouldn't mind hearing a bit of Layla. I can do the piano coda at the end.

Nice one mate, keep it up.

Oh btw I posted your vid on the arty thread, hope you don't mind.

Thank you very much for the good comments Wes! I must say blues is very easy to improvise (Hendrix used to say that it's easy to play but hard to feel). Still, I've been trying to make something like that in a rather long time!

Thank you Michelle! I will bring my guitars to Trois-Rivières but with the neighbors it will be harder to play without headphones!

Private message is on its way!

Breaking news ladies and gentlemen!

So long story short we have some people working for the city who are literally demolishing our street in order to re-do it. With those people working around here everyday we have to go to the post office in order to get our mail since the postman cannot reach our houses. I went today to get it and, to my surprise, there was a package for me! Now I knew I was supposed to receive one but I didn't know it would be that quick!

Here's what was inside the big enveloppe!

As some of you know, I enjoy vintage mechanical timepieces and a member of our fine community thought that this book would be a good addition to my library. Needless to say that member was absolutely right as I'm thrilled with that beautiful gift!

Now let's see, who is the generous person responsible for this?

...Yes, the one and only!

Thank you so much my dear, I am really happy with that beautiful book and will enjoy it to the fullest (while taking great care of it, of course, I baby my books much more than my watches! ). You are very generous and you represent the friendship and happiness of this forum perfectly!

Now here's a little something for you, it is nothing much (if not less than that) but I've had a great time recording this for you!

PS- can you send me the link?
Enjoy that book, and remember what I had mentioned of it's defensive potential-in case of an intruder in your new apartment!

I truly hope nobody will break in my house just to steal some trees Michelle but if it happens I'll remember your advice!

Thank you for the good words regarding the song, I'll send it to you shortly (as always)! I'm really glad you like it my friend, please try to enjoy it, I know I will do the same with your beautiful book!

WOW you guys.

Michelle, what a beautiful book and great gesture. As Lisa said, you are soooooo awesome. (I think I'm getting a soft spot for her)

Carl, I enjoyed that vid the most. It really got me going and tapping my feet. It's much better that we get to see you play, you're left handed?

I really want to take up the guitar.

Thank you Wes, I am a left-handed indeed my friend!

I'll probably keep on filming myself this way, I kind of like the look (thank you for the idea, I got it while looking at your videos).

P.S.: Learn the guitar and then play it with your feet take care of the piano. I'm telling you, Lisa will literally melt in front of her computer screen!

Good morning coffeeshop...I had such a pleasant dream last night....there was this amazing young man playing a song for me on his guitar......then I woke up.....to discover it wasn't a dream!!!

You cofeeshoppers are ALL amazing! I feel that, despite distance and time (no pun intended there), we have a great connection with each other- and thats a cool thing to have on our life journeys!
You're all getting a christmas card this year!

Funny you should mention that...I was just watching a youtube spoof of the Terminator and Jesus! (I think its a spanish production with dubbed in English)
Anyway, ... there is a time separation, especially with you my dear Brit; Aren't you about 5 hours or so ahead of Ontario? So, I'm sitting here on my front porch, with my morning java- its almost 9am. It should be around 2 pm for you, which puts you in the mid afternoon....almost tea time right?

PS- great T-shirt idea!!
