I have been looking for a 20mm tropic/perlon NATO for the past couple years, absolutely no where online (I looked thoroughly). Anyway, I just found them from a U.S. seller on ebay. If anyone in interested just type in "20mm tropic NATO", they'll pop up with a variety of buckles at about $25. High quality too.

Would you please provide the link? As I type what you suggested and only regular perlon or regular nato show up. Tks

Birth of a "Nylon Nation"

Maybe we can "stretch" the thread title (pun intended) to birth of a rubber nation? :)

Wearing my BB on a Bonetto Cinturini rubber nato, model 328

Absolutely! Great addition to the group, thg. Might have to check one out. Big fan of BC straps.

tks Dan! By all means, highly recommended as they are super comfy. They only come in 22mm that I know of. I got mine from watchgecko (only have black) though apparently also available (black and green) from market straps a bit cheaper. Repost when you get them, cheers!

My pleasure. I absolutely concur with you. 20mm would have been great. Also unless I can further figure out how to fold over correctly the excess strap over the top keeper (tried but it was too tight a squeeze), my only solution was to cut a bit off with an exacto knife and a coin. When I get home I will give it a bit of a sanding to smooth out edges and voilą!

Done that myself on a few rubber straps, worked out perfectly.

I am waiting on my two Prelon straps, hopefully they will be here next week. Should I get extra springbars and keep the originals with the bracelet? I heard the 1680 submariner has special thick bars (along with every series that had acrylic glass), is that true?
