Putting the thought in is the easy part, I like talking to you gals about watches. Gotta scrape the money together and get the thing yet. But mum deserves it as she is the greatest.

Well delay shopping with Austin until he can afford to buy you a watch and not the other way round.

You guys! I've been grinning over the day's coffeeshop posts. Been busy doing estate stuff and it sure feels good to kick back with a Shiner Bock and appreciate the excellent people who hang out here.

PS.... did anyone say lume is awesome?

Hey lisa, did you hear that they managed to put a Jellyfish gene into Mice and now they glow in the dark. (poor mice)

But think soon we could have luminous people, though it's a bit late for your kids. I know you would of loved that.

Wes, I'd be really surprised if your (or any other) mother didn't absolutely love whatever watch you choose for her. As long as you're thoughtful with regards to size (prolly not a Deep Sea - LOL) and a date feature. I'm sure you don't have to worry that she'll love it nomatter what. Very generous.

What time is it? Time for you and Dad to leave....

Well, its 10:45 pm here- I just got back from a hockey game,(we won )
and I'm sitting here, having a snack, (because cold arenas always make me hungry...) and I'm taking one last peek into the shop before bed;
So Lisa- just curious- what time is it right now for you? I'm just wondering if you are ahead or behind us here....
Carl, I already know what time you're in... ( the twilight zone right?)
Wes should be asleep by now, as he is 5 hours ahead of me- so 4 am where he's at.....

My son had a soccer game today. Interscholastic Injury Fund game so it didn't count toward the Varsity season. He was the only player to play the entire game. I wonder if that's a good thing?

Ticking away, the moments that make a dull day...

It's 10:56 right now and I'm waiting for a video to upload completely, how's the snack?

For the last 2 years he's played center midfield for the HS but his premier club coach has him playing defense and I think it suit him well. This year the varsity coach has him playing left and center defense as well and he's very happy there. Lots more intense.

Here's another one for you guys, you can actually see my face in this video!

...Alright, pretty much just the tip of my chin and my nose but it's better than nothing! Besides, it gives you the impression that they are enormous (I'll have to be more careful next time)!

Feel free to comment! As I've said in it, I did make a couple of mistakes and I'm not sure the sound is that good, please tell me if you found it hard to listen to.

Sounds great, Carl! Bend those strings, baby! (is that an appropriate, appreciative comment?)

Hmmm... didn't see any chin or nose!

Appropriate indeed Lisa! Thank you for that rock on! comment!

I wasn't sure about posting it when I heard the notes I missed but I quite liked (if I may say it without being arrogant or pompous) the sound of those bent strings, that's why I decided to give it a try. As for my chin and nose, they appear really quickly but listen to the beginning of the video, you can see them as I am about to play.

Thats great Bill- strong defence men are the backbone of the team!!
Austin played defence for a number of years, before they switched him to ...um...left wing (i think), anyway- because of his D experience, he can skate backward just as strongly as forward- he's versatile!
So Ethan, having experience playing both offense and defence must have a really solid understanding of the game-making him versatile ! and thats why he gets played a lot
