I wonder what tooling they use to work with Osmium?

@justcruisin I placed my order with Toppers jewelers after confirming their deposit was 100% refundable. For a purchase with a production date a yr and a half out, life can happen. I found their refund policy reassuring.

Very interesting...having ordered the S, I agree that this looks great and am glad to see it.

Thanks!

Fan of their CEO. Very engaging, gives off the vibe he'd be happy to talk horology with the random customer if he was in the store with them.

I just love the direction and trajectory of Czapek. They couldn't have a better person than Xavier at the helm. That Frozen Star has an epic dial, and the sapphire rattraprante is the best version yet.

Two-thirds are sold out. The remaining one-third will be offered first come first serve on Czapek's website on April 2 at 3pm CET.

The added platty residue would put it over 100k

Have to agree with everyone, imho Czapek is a very special company. It's a true joy to be part of their 'family'. Am sooooo looking forward to the Monochrome version. Ever since I saw the movement diagram a while back, just knew if they really could pull this off... and they did!

Thanks to Xavier, Mike, and everyone @ Czapek.

Thanks for sharing the video. I caught that he said due to the smaller 38.5mm size, the recesses on both sides of the case were removed, which makes sense. It is actually a pretty unique design (recess + crown guards) for the piece that drew me in, but I can live without it for a good fit on the wrist. Xavier shows such passion for what he does - this is going to be a long wait.

Wow - both the frozen star and the new rattrapante and absolutely stunning! A bit out of my league but some of the most amazing pieces I’ve ever seen. I’m so excited for the future of Czapek…glad I got my Antarctique last year.

I had missed this so thanks for pointing it out. Always thought it was missing in the design. Looks much better with it. The only 38.5mm I see on the site is the osmium dial. Are you seeing it elsewhere as well?

Downside to the 38.5 is always that you lose the great cuts on the left side of the case.

In the flesh, it’s a ladies watch. A guy with small wrists could wear it, but it’s blingy (looks diamond crusted) so if that’s the look you like, it would be ok… but still small.
