Yep Jamie Cullum is an amazing English Jazz Pianist. He just married Sophie Dahl(granddaughter of Roald Dahl, Sophie - the girl in BFG) She's a model and a lot taller than him.

In fact it's depressing hearing him play, he is sooo good. It's a bit like these child prodigies, most seem to be coming out of Asia at the moment. Wish my parents stood over me with a stick, and whacked my knuckles everytime I played a wrong note.

Ohhh, Akhla-tekes are amazing!- a lot like Arabs in that they are really good at endurance racing; he is sooooo clean, i bet the second he gets a chance to roll in the sand- he will ! (Horses hate being that clean )

Nope, this horse is Johnny- I owned him for about 2 years; he's back with his original owner now...which is good for me as one horse on my plate is enough!
I do get to visit him still....and i do miss him!

Funny you should pick up that look Raf!- Johnny has "Grumpy-Old-Man" syndrome now that he is retired
Also, look what we made him wear!

PS- Sorry Raf!! I just re-read this post and i did not mean to insinuate that you have "G-O-M" syndrome too!!!!

Hey, Karis. Didn't sell any watches at the estate sale (didn't really want to!) but you know how I've been kind of nutty about finding a 36mm DJ with two-color lume? I had thought only the DJII had it. My AD proved otherwise - there is a 36mm DJ with Arabic numerals that glow in blue, and the hands in green. We even took it into the vault at the AD to test the colors. The dial is silverish, with a crosshatch kind of pattern.

I also found that the new jubilee bracelet fits without removing any permanent links... so I ordered the watch.

I do like the pink dial, but since I'm keeping the salmon dialed TOG (it now fits very well with a permanent link removed) I thought one pink and one salmon was too similar. It was the bi-color lume that sold me, and it's only available with the silvery dial. The numbers are easy to see, though, so I think readability will be fine.

No pic yet but you know I'll have some up as soon as the watch arrives.

no.... although it wasn't for lack of searching.... The used sofas were beautiful, but totally the wrong colour; I then spent time trolling through some big furniture stores, trying to dodge the shark-like sales associates...(I hate the feeling like I'm being stalked! )

There's no rush however, I did find a rug i like...so now I just have to find the sofas to go with it,

Glad you found a rug, Michelle. I love a good rug - it really sets the tone for the room more than any other piece of furniture or accessory. I know how you feel about the giant furniture stores... I try to avoid them but sometimes they have the advantage of sheer volume.

What is your general theme? I liked the rustic, cabin like style. Are you going to do something completely different?

Wes - thanks for posting the video. It is such a treat to watch you play. I'm quite familiar with that song, though I don't know of much else that Kings of Leon play.

Now, for your next one, will you please say something, for crying out loud?!!

Well it sounds super and I can't wait to see it on you! I know you're stoked about the lume! Glad you're finally getting it! And you get to keep the salmon DJ so it's a win-win! Will be interesting to see which DJ you wear more....at least the current one fits properly now which makes all the difference.
