I just love coming into this thread every couple days to see my favorite Pateks. It makes me want to get to the bank ASAP so I can get mine out but @ the same time it satisfies that urge somewhat by seeing you guys' wrist shots. Great photos gents and amazing watches.

Just was up there for work the other day. Shake Shack had a horrible line and such limited seating it was a huge stressful bust.
That area is gonna be amazing when finished.

Its a cool area but food is lacking... I have bread and PB and J in case I don’t want to go out.

Never been to shake shack or chick fillet. People tell me they are good.

This was lunch today :)

Omg - no chix Fil a? I find it hard not to pick that in a mall type food court.
You are missing out. Somehow one small pickle makes all the difference.

Same here! I also like symmetry and more importantly simplicity. Hence I got in line for a blue 5711 at the AD. Now that I have had the 5711 for a year I am wondering if I'd prefer the 5712 which would have come through at the AD much faster in the first place.

Checking in w the AD recently they suggested it will be easier to get me a 5740 than the 5712 in the current environment.

Not a bad problem to have. Get the 5740!

Demand is higher relative to supply. 5740 probably one per store with maybe a handful of people... vs a 5712 which may be 2 per year and like 10-20 people deep

Ok... I don’t think that’s all stores. Point I was trying to highlight was there is naturally more demand at the 12 level

There's definitely more demand for the 5712.

It's a great reference, as you well know... Lots of elements to like, but sadly, at the end of the day, it just doesn't quite do it for me.

All the more for you I suppose!

This is pretty much what the AD said, a family-owned store in my smallish working-class hometown w limited demand for 100+k watches.
