Quite an impressive and inspiring review, well done. Absolutely gorgeous photos. The Sea Dweller is the watch I’ve decided on after a long deliberation process. Something about an ultimate tool watch, refined and classic, that I’m finally nearly ready to pull the trigger on. Biggest point I have to settle is a great example 16660 or a 16600.

Many thx
A triple six - particularly the early ones with a matte dial would be most awesome It's just a question of some patience, some luck & ... a lot of money... these days

Good luck either way and plz keep us posted

Many thanks for your kind feedback; glad you enjoyed the post
We agree that the "classic" SD is an amazing watch and of course, also one of my favorites.

On a side note, I'm excited as I just ordered Mondani's latest edition on the Submariner / Sea Dweller / Deep Sea and it (now) has the "SWISS" dial entered as the MK II dial of the 16600 series

spectacular this thread, for true SD16600 fans. THX Traveller !
I went through several models (116518 - 16610 - 116613LB - 116660 - 5513 - 14060M - 16518 - many Panerai ...), and he's left.
He won with everyone......

It could probably be only him, I'm evaluating

Great to hear it! I can't imagine being a one-watch kind of guy, but if I were ...the 16600 would certainly be on my short list

Will do, but I'm in another country from it and fear it could be a few months before I see it due to current climate

First Rolex: 16600 SWISS dial Sea-Dweller

I‘m not sure, if it‘s the „best“ watch. But it‘s the watch, I would wear everytime. ;-)

Although I tweaked it a little bit, owning two 98210 Glidelocks. (One for my Oyster, one for my Rubber B)

Great pics by the way. Glad to find 16600 lovers here.
