Looks like the clasp codes are getting random like the serial numbers.

I have the latest list posted at http://www.minus4plus6.com/numbers.htm#clasp

The list is missing the (6th digit) metal code for the everose rolesor. Judging by the list I supose "2" correponds to everose roleser?

So, the list is not complete.

Have you noticed that in older type oyster bracelets ,some of the clasp codes are in the middle above the STEELINOX and some in the outer right of STEELINOX ?

With all the knowledge that we are gaining here, we minimise the chances to be victims of buying a fake watch, especially in the second hand market, at first level where the majority will fail to spot the fake.
Of course we may be "power users" but not experts and always we have to authenticate the watches in someone with expertise.

Wonder what will be next perhaps movement codes, well IMHO thats the most important bit, you cannot tell how long movements like the cal 3135 have been sitting in there thousands waiting to be cased.Case codes, clasp codes, as long as you have a genuine watch bought from a reliable source thats fine for me.Myself don't care a hoot about the Internet codes and don't care when case or clasp may have been stamped.Perhaps Rolex altered the codes years back and the Internet codes are all wrong who know for sure only Rolex.

My Yachtmaster has AB11. Given that I got it in February 2001 it makes sense that the clasp code would be from November 2000.

My 116610 has C2H. Bought Aug 2010.

Had this discussion on an old thread. Apparently it's just a random code now, like the serial codes.
