Hi Guys, new here! Just need help I might be purchasing a rolex from a contact and I want to know exactly what the specifications of it are. I know it's Rolex 1680 Red Submariner with serial #2879604, what exactly is the exact name and year of it? Is this real? The band is aftermarket, but the head seems to be legit, what should the pricing be with just the head and the all the paperwork? [IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Hello if you haven't already done so, you should start a new thread here in vintage section asking these questions. Also try to get a few more pics and reduce their size. We'll be able to provide you all the answers you need.

Red Submariner Tutorial

I have a Mark II or III red submariner meters first 1680 2.3xxxxxx and found the tutorial by Mark Lerman most helpful in my Rolex education.

I am willing to sell this watch if I can establish a fair market price point, and then deal via a safe method. For example, I'm unwilling to send the watch to anyone unless insured for whatever the market price turns out to be.

hello

if they can do decent build quality and a decent 1920x1080 screen then maybe we can think about it, but at 2lb I'm not convinced.that is very nice watch.

I do agree with it. Overall it is a very nice post and very informative but still few things are missing from it and hopefully we will see these things in the next post from mark.
