The most surprising thing to me, is that you were quoted only a 5% fee. That's mighty low compared to what they normally charge from what I recall.

Yes, I think they have recently changed their pricing... when I recieved the final paperwork to be signed, the fee structure I was quoted was written in black sharpie on top of the previous fee structure, which had been stricken out, lol.

I would like to think I am special and that they gave me a good deal, but I think they just had not updated their forms yet.

Auction Today.

It is too late to register to bid I think, but not too late to sign up for a free account at Christies.com and watch the action live.

The watch in this thread is lot number 235 in today's auction. It will come up in the afternoon session, which starts at 2:00 Pm EST.
