Instead of starting a new thread I resurrected this 7 year old one and wanted to share some pics of my 1675, Mark IV from 1977 that is currently rolling with a faded gun steel gray fat font insert and a expandable C&I rivet bracelet...

Perhaps 7 years late or even 11 years late if you go by the original post date but sweet—looks great!

1978 1675 GMT Master; 1st owner, still cpl. in original condition: (crystal, inlay etc.), 100% cpl.set.
Still running very fine......purchased new at nett $ 410,- (40% discount in 1978 makes nett hfl 1020,- = Dutch Guilder)

Looks like a nice GMT. I found the garantie paper interesting? GMTs usually came with the garantie/chronometer certificate during that era.

I see it now, I thought it was the shorter garantie only paper. My apologies.

Enjoy your 1675 for many years to come.

From about 1975. Does that count? Mk 2.5 dial, I believe. Bought it new.

This thread never dies, which is a good thing. Here's my 1675 that I bought 51 years ago for $139.77 at the China Fleet Club (U.S. Naval Exchange) in Hong Kong in Jan. 1971. I scanned the receipt about seven years ago because the ink was fading so badly, except for my scribble done at the time to show $US at the exchange rate of that date. That was the best price I found vs. $270 in ConUS and $180 at the Army Exchange in Vietnam.

Lots of memories, as I rarely removed the watch for the first 40 years, with the watch and me surviving three motorcycle accidents and one airplane crash together. We're two old survivors. My watchmaker recommended "put it in your safe, don't service it, and don't wear it," but I do wear it occasionally, delegating DW duties to my two Tudor Big Blocks and a Tudor Sub.
