Without a doubt Rose Gold for me is the winner Of course you cannot go wrong as they are both amazing.

I own the stainless steel version and when trying on the white gold variant I come back to the same conclusion. Can someone here confirm?
I had both and can confirm that WG has thicker/higher case, maybe a tad bigger surface too, not sure.
It wears bigger and heavier, feels more substantial, that's what you feel when you're trying it on

WG is able to be worn more...you can dress it up and down and have not regretted my choice to go for the WG version. If money was no object I would have YG too!

Congrats with your Daytona.
So you went for the white.
Maybe steel or WG is easier if you want to sell but the Everose looks damn good (have a look at the pic and enjoy)!

I wasn't into gold until I bought my Day Date 1810 some weeks ago.
Now I love it.

And if there is a Sky Dweller for sale (secondhand) in the future I will go for the Everose.
Hated it but now it is really growing and love & hate are pretty close together !

Have a nice weekend and envoy you great looking Daytona

Thank you for confirming! My yellow gold daytona is more the exact size as my SS Daytona. But the white gold variant is definitely a tad higher and the bezel appears to be a tad wider or bigger as well.

Ok well after yesterday at my ad I had the chance to try them both on and for me the wg was the winner. The rg is a beauty but with my skin tone it just didn't look right on me.

2 totally different looks. I like both. I have a WG, friend has a RG. Me personally, I feel I would get more use out of WG. I also have it on leather strap, which gives the options of changing the look of watch by changing strap. A lot goes with WG. RG is more limiting. I would also suggest you look at different RG hues from different makes. Patek and others. I'm not suggesting to look at a different watch, but when you do this comparison you notice the Rolex RG is very "pink". Other Rose Golds are more subtle. I've also had more than one dealer tell me a large % of Rolex RG buyers are women, not that there is anything wrong with that, like i said i like both, but WG slightly wins it for me :).

P.S just realized this was an old thread, and buying choices were already made haha. I guess I'm tired from a flight! Anyway, my advice stands for anyone facing this choice.

As an everyday wearer, I would go with the WG. RG seems more of a dressy watch to me.

RG is a fad. WG is timeless. Go for WG.

As for value....no idea

I love that white gold Daytona you have. I hope you are still wearing it. I also love the quote in your signature about lying. It's deep.
It reminds me a bit of someone who has cheated in the past will always be afraid his/her gf/bf will cheat on him/her too.

I think yellow gold would sell more easily than either rose or white gold.
