Congratulations on the new purchase! Absolutely nothing wrong with a D serial LV that's for sure.
You made out great on the price too, although I can't complain about the $4875 MSRP back in the day. |

should be ok so long as the warranty card is dated on the day you bought it. servicing shouldn't be an issue now since if it was sitting in the display case for 5 years, it wouldn't have had more than a couple of hours of running time hence no need for service.

And to the OP, I would never dream of servicing it. You may wish to contact someone from the tech section, as there are lots of GREAT people there who may miss your thread here. I would be a buck they say NOT to service it---- just enjoy your fine rehaultless LV! Enjoy that beauty, and stay safe out there my friend!
