Well no Sub, just the normal annual cash gifting. No complaints here.

My birthday is in May. Mayby then.

Its been a great Christmas none the less. I plan on winning the Yachtmaster anyways! Thanks for tuning in.

You must be younger than I thought/imagined!!!
I pictured a nice old guy living on Lake Murray not some kid getting CASH from the father in law!

Fathers-In Law

All my first father in law ever gave me was advice, and this is a true story.
We were out in the woods and he was teaching me how to skeet shoot. This was a few months before we got married. After a few Hams Beers he said, "look, you seem like a nice kid, she is just like her mother, get out while you can." 4 years later I figured it out.

I did, but "Dad" did buy the whole family Rolex watches in the past, so he's clearly both financially able and generous. I still think Dan did well.

Dan - has she got a good looking sister?

Jeez Dan,

You didn't get the Sub c.
Karma will certainly prevent you from winning the Yachtmaster.
I feel so sorry for you I am tempted to just give you one of my Rolex watches.

I'll get back to you......mate.

but I doubt your Father in Law made his money by making stupid decisions.

My hypothesis is that your father-in-law frequents this forum (he is, after all, a big fan of Rolex), saw your post and decided last minute not to gift you the Rolex out of spite. j/k!
