Why do you say that, luxury goods are worth what people are prepared to pay - note I said it sold at that figure. I wouldn't pay that much personally but I can fully understand those able to afford it being very pleased to obtain such a wonderful piece.

Any idea how the blue dial compare on the 5711P to the anniversary 5711P? I mean is it the same shade of blue? Best

I love mine every day more and more

The blue dial is simply mesmerizing, oh and I do wear it, only for special occasions.

I'm still extremely happy with my ugly watch

And so surprising that people today don't mind paying 150K eur for this ugly watch. Mine is going nowhere, enjoying it tooo much.

Looking at them side by side I prefer the SS dial over the P dial which is too weak a blue for me.

SS dial on the left is more grey/blue Genta style, the Plat on the right is the more vibrant modern blue.

The 40th is nicer than I initially thought, but if to choose I would take the classic 5711P over it any day, got used to the engraving and the diamonds, but much prefer without them, doesn't come close to me, but will most certainly never have either, did hesitate a little to get the 40th, but couldn't decide myself into putting that kind of cash in a time only PT watch, I am putting that kind of cash in a watch but very different kind of watch, not sure I would have gotten the classic 5711 P at retail had I been able to, if I was much richer why not, not the case unfortunately

No question about that, and this may well break any Nautilus sales record if/when one makes it to a public auction. Outstanding piece - congratulations.
