Always.

If I wake up in the middle of the night, I will guess what time it is, then glance at the watch and see how accurate I was.

24/7 I'll have one of my watches on my wrist. I fly and travel so much that it's a habit.

Bumps and scratches in the middle of the night is the least of my concerns with my Rolexes. I'm sure I've bumped my watches more surfing, diving, skiing, and climbing more than I have sleeping in bed.

I take it off as soon as I get home. When I travel I have my Luminox (Tritium) at the bedside table next to my Surefire Titan. When I get up to leave, I put on my Rolex.

As for the Surefire, I was in a hotel one night when the fire alarm and the lights went off.

I slept with my SubC one night and it was my last. I was laying on my stomach and my ear managed to lay on top of the watch and it was so loud that it woke me up.

The thing about sleeping with watches: the cheaper, the better.

I do almost every night. 99% of the time it's a SS model, but occasionally after a wild night out I've forgotten to switch from gold to stainless steel.

I have problems sleeping, so I need the bedroom to be completely dark, and keep my alarm (cell phone) all the way across the room to prevent me from hitting the snooze button in the morning. When I wake up in the middle of the night, which happens at least twice every night, it is much more convenient for me to just glance at my wrist instead of getting up to look at the phone screen.

Agreed. I figured it would be less then 5 percent. I don't even like having them on just sitting around the house.

I don't see the point and I think it'd be uncomfortable.

Only if we take the proper precautions though and promise to remain monogamous.

True. But what is the point in taking it off? All its going to do is fall off the night stand, or I forget it and end up at work without it and feel naked all day.

A timepiece for me is not just for telling time, it's more of a companion.
