Mine is snug behind the wrist bone, just the tip of my pinky slides under. I don’t like it to be any looser than this. Personal preference I guess

Nice. I thought I had the Glide Lock on my 2005 116234 because the clasp looked the same.

Cartier is good too; I use Veraet watch cleaner new : name is Wrist Clean ...I use to us Dawn dish washing detergent.

I currently use mild dish washing detergent. Why did you move away from it?

The Veraet watch spray cleaner washes off easily, no suds and really brighten up the finish.

I wore my first Submariner very loose. I really liked it that way. I think it's because you are always noticing it moving almost like a bracelet. However - when I purchased my Explorer (39mm), I had it sized at the Rolex boutique in Beverly Hills and they sized it snug.

I was skeptical at first as I had thought I loved the looser band but I was wrong. I stays in place. It actually sits on my wrist (it is a wristwatch after all) and never goes down to my hand. Always at the perfect angle to turn my wrist and glance.

The other aspect I have come to love about the suggested fitting is that as it is not moving all over the place once tends to forget it's even there...that is until you need to know the time and glance over at your wrist. That's when you really appreciate that you are wearing a Rolex.

Zombie thread. Too loose wears the bracelet link pins more than the snugly fitting pinky under the clasp.

It's weird being the same age as old people.

Half a link loose, humid vs dry weather not to mention +/- a few pounds here and there.
