Icon4 You will be sorrrrrry...

I'm going to say THIS JUST ONE TIME!

"The SD4K is a ROLEX that is in a class of it's own. One does not trade it...
One should only add to it...!"

You should know that I have tried on several occasions to Trad my beloved SD, and I will be taking my own advice to heart! lol

If the BLNR sings to you more, I probably would.

They're quite difficult to get hold of in the UK. None of this waiting list nonsense, but you have to shop around. Here in Singapore, they're pretty scarce and demand is high so they run above retail.

OP, I would add if at all possible. I wouldn't do that flip.
I totally agree with this response that the BLNR is the official flipper. Both are equally great watches. I have no problem with this deal.

There is a lot of love on the forum for every watch....However I think the SD has the strongest, most loyal, following. This is the closest I've seen to consensus on a thread.

On a side note, I am saving for a SD. Can't wait to join the club.

SD4K and BLNR are my two favorites of the current line up.

If you're thinking about it, it's gonna happen. Just sit back, be patient and do a good deal. If you change your mind, do the same. Flipping is half the fun if you ask me.

Nope. I have both and love both but there is something pure and special about the SD4000.

I flipped a Sub C Bluesy , similar weight to a SD4K , for a Blnr and find it way more comfortable. I have worn it non stop for the last two weeks which is rare for me. I say trade.

The SD is a perfect everyday watch. Personally i like its strong wrist presence.

The BLNR is a fantastic watch but given that you are limiting yourself at 2 watches, i find the SD to be a match for your DD

I have the SD and will acquire a BLNR in the coming weeks. Keep the SD4K and just add the BLNR

Rolex knows this. The "Blueberry" will replace the BLNR.

So no, don't flip anything for the BLNR. You will regret it.
Lol everyone seemed to get pulled in by the mythical 'blueberry'

Absolutely not. The SD4K is an iconic watch, the BLNR is a trendy watch. Maybe thats why I don't take the batman serious. Never been a fan of the blnr.

hahah, inflammatory much?

FWIW, I stopped wearing pretty much everything else after I got my BLNR. I'm a young guy. Had it on my wrist for almost a year solid.

I had a 116710 when I bought my 116600 and was planning on keeping them both. Three months went by and I'd worn the 116710 a handful of times, and that was only because I thought I really should.

The 116710 was the most comfortable watch I've ever owned and I loved it. I still slightly regret selling it despite it not getting any wrist time. And on a bad day I could be tempted to buy one again. But not in place of the 116600, not a chance.

I agree with this. Although strangely when it came out it very strongly divided opinion on here.

Only if you truly prefer the BLNR over the SD-C. Life is too short not to have what you really like.
