I leave my stickers on - I err on the side of caution. Don't want to get any scratches on it!

no way.....that's like leaving the tags on a well-made suit or any suit for that matter.

Sometimes with this thread I can't tell if people are being serious or not.

I have only left the clasp sticker on until the edges start curling. The other stickers come off usually after the first photo's are taken.

Leaving stickers on your timepiece and wearing them, makes it look like you can't afford your watch. It's the equivalent of buying a nice suit for an awards ceremony and leaving the price tags on so you can return it aftwards. Just tacky

I don't walk around the sidewalks of NYC carrying my Rolex in hand, wiping my fingers across the crystal all day like I would a phone screen. It's not remotely comparable

Either ADs took stickers off or when I purchased one from trusted seller, I removed the stickers immediately after the bracelet got resized by NY RSC the first time I put the watch on. You will not take your Rolex to your grave... Wear your watch in good health and worry about other things than small scratches...

BTW, some people in Kuwait keep plastic covers on their car seats. I do not how efficient the seat cooling is... But if you keep plastic on your watch, you should keep plastic on your furniture, car seats, etc.

I think it's similar to:

- Driving a new car and leaving the Mulrooney in the window
- Wearing new sunglasses and leaving the tag on the bridge
- Wearing new jeans and leaving the size and UPC tag on the waist

Not quite up there with eating a Big Mac without removing the wrapper... but real close.

I have seen this several times, people leaving the Harris Tweed tag on their sports coat, etc. Looks weird to me.

I agree....although I prefer to take them off myself once I get home....it's a little like bonding with your new watch!
