"Xelor" is actually a Rolex trademark for a proprietary blend of white, yellow and rose gold with small amounts of platinum and xenon gas added.

If a 24-year-old girl starts a thread about a Rolex it will get 6800 clicks and 134 replies in two days.

Dan “Hoss” Blocker was famous for ruining takes cause he'd frequently forget to remove his Rolex wristwatch (an accessory that wouldn't be present in the Old West) before filming a scene.

Some owners are ignorant douchebag.

Rolex sell ~$4,500,000,000+ per year, how can anyone expect all customers to have same class?

The engraved rehaut, the X in Rolex aligns with the hour markers on the right hand side of the dial and the R aligns with the markers on the left.

The SD50 comes with a half-link in the bracelet. Have we had that yet?

It doesn't on mine (216570), but the round luminous does seem to eclipse the entire crown.

If that is true, also the crown will line up with the 12 o clock marker.

Can anyone post a pic of this? I don't have a Sub (the horror!!!!) and am curious to see it (the eclipse; I believe I have seen Subs).

Not always the case. My crown is just a tiny bit to the right of the 12 o'clock marker however the "R" and "X" line up perfectly with their perspective hour marker going all the way around.

AD in Japan will not give you the watch tag as they need to send it back to Rolex - or at least that's what they claimed of.

Btw, new member here - first post here after bought my first subc date in Osaka 2 weeks ago

The rehaut crown doesn't even align perfectly with the 12 marker many times. Perfection, Rolex? No.

Looks like the dial and bezel belong on a bluesy but he said he bought it from a dealer like that.

Scott Joplin? Doubtful, since he died in 1917, before Rolex watches were sold in the USA, and 10 years even before the first Rolex authorised dealers were appointed in Britain. The story is a hoax.

Sorry. I based my comment on an old article in watchuseek ("Rolex and the Ragtime King"). If it has been debunked or if I misread it, then I apologize

And to MonBK, I believe news travels to Manila the same speed it does anywhere - at Internet speed
