Discounts? No chance... barring a recession, this watch will not be discounted by any AD.

Nope, its not even close. The SD43 in that picture scales to 45mm. The size difference is overstated by 40% from the reality.

For me, the SD4K is the last "real" Sea-Dweller

The SD43 is great. Wears smaller than its size suggests.

Won't work for me; the SD4K is the perfect dive watch. SD43 not so much at least for me.

I’d prefer the SD43. For a collectors piece the 4K may have the advantage

The sd4000 is my favorite modern dive watch id never trade it for the newer sd. imho its much more rarer and valuable.

I have both and would never sell my sd4k.116600... I actually don't wear it as much out of respect for it being more rare and for me, it's so special when I choose to wear it.
Guess I never had a short run, retired watch before but I smile everytime its on. The sd43 is great but not special in any way

I'm a big fan of the 4k, however I can see how the 43 can grow on you. It looks better to me everytime I see it. Tough call, either way l see no mistake. Me personally I still prefer the 4k
