Bought my 1st Rolex, the Explorer II 216570 last December. 4 months later I bought a great condition 2005 GMT Master II 16710 that I just happened to come across at my local watchmaker for about $1000 less than everywhere else. 5 months later I bought a 1 month old 114060 Sub from Davidsw. Time to keep my wallet closed for a little while I think.

Your second Rolex was how soon after your first?

As I wrote, the second after three months ...

... and now the third after other three months!

13 years. I figure if I choose right the first time, there's no need to change.

Started with a SS Daytona gift from my old man in Aug. Then went beserk hunted for the BLNR, found a good priced 116710 LN so pulled the trigger then the BlNR arrived. Added a 14060M. All in all the whirlwind lasted 3 months.

Recently saw a 16710 coke and quite smitten so hunting for one now. And yes these forums do have a little influence on you.

Got my first sub 1978, then marriage/children/divorce. Purchased my Daytona in December 2015 new from AD as a christmas present to self after the last of the kids student loans were paid, then purchased a mint 16610 in Oct. 2017. Now in the hunt for a new Red Sea Dweller!

I got my first one as a gift in Jan of 2017... it took 2 months before my next purchase. Since then I've purchased 3 and sold 2.

BLNR & Ceramic Daytona are the ones that have held the test of time. (I say time, but it's really only like a few months)

roughly 9 months between my 6426 and my Air king I believe, and I had a Tudor I ended up returning in between that time.

How soon did you guys get your first Rolex that you were back in the market looking for more?

Three weeks, Milgauss then traded my 14060m for a new Sub. I now have the hots for an Air King so I thought about flipping my milgauss for it but I can't let it go so I'll be patient while saving up some extra cash.

I thought to only by one, the Daytona, which I picked up a couple of weeks ago and figured it would be my last.

After enjoying TRF, I realize, like my hairline, that the possibility of me only having one is rapidly receding....
