I'm hoping for a 38 or 39mm Datejust. 41mm is just too big.

I surely hope it's a new Turn-O-Graph. I would definitely want one.

I don´t understand the sense of introducing the Turn-O-Graph having both the Sub as the YM in the Rolex lineup..

It could be a simple update to the new narrower style case. I'm going out on a limb here: New Tridor.

Lucky for you the 41mm DJ is actually 39.5mm.

If they could make this in 36mm and not fugly, it’d be amazing and instantly on the shopping list.

It is actually 39mm Datejust but simply called Datejust 41!

They would need to downsize the thickness A LOT. The Sky Dweller is proportionately thick at its current size. That thickness in a 36mm case would wear like an Omega (and I mean that in a bad way).

I know... a lot of limitations. No need for a GMT function though, so there’s hope... ?

I totally agree, and hope to see it

I'd be fine losing the month indicator too. Just set up a normal looking classically sized 36mm DD where the day and date are correct after setting once per year. That would be irresistible to me.

You hear that Rolex? You've already sold TWO!

In seriousness, though, a month mirroring the day at 6 would look lovely.

That is correct but it wears more like a 40mm sports watch than a 39mm dress watch for whatever reason -- bezel to dial ratio, height, lug length, that extra .5mm, who knows?

Point being that a size between the "36" and "41" would be great.

The 36 is just too small for many and the DJ41 / DD40 is too much of a statement ... This Baselworld, would be awesome to see something that retains the subtlety and compactness of the 36 with just slightly enlarged proportions and not such a big leap between the two. Another thing that won't happen: as a personal preference, bring back the end links! The new jubilee and president bracelet integration that makes end links invisible, with the case floating above a bracelet that disappears underneath, just looks weird to me.

I'd say it doesn't wear like a dress watch because the DJ isn't a dress watch. It's much more chunky than a real dress watch. I agree with you though, that the DJ41 proportions aren't ideal (something that's true about almost every Rolex post-five digit), though they are much better than the DJ2.

In any case, I'm not sure a .5mm smaller DJ is going to be any closer to what anyone wants than anything already available.

A Day-Date with the months indicator, borrowed from the Sky-Dweller.

That's what I meant, I badly used the word "calendar"

An annual calendar Day-Date in yellow gold would be very interesting indeed. Can't figure out what the sports watch with Mercedes hands will be though, I'm puzzled.

Finally someone that understands, everytime I mention I want a smaller DJ they tell me it is already a 39; problem is it wears like a 42 mm
