This and all older Thunderbirds. It's the dog's breakfast. Look away, Dixieland.

Love the 116900 Air-King, strangely. Until I laid eyes on it in the metal, I thought it was a mess. Now...

Daytona for me. I don't like it. GMT? I don't like the extra hand and the submariner-like dial. Ym2, no way either.

Not so much an ugly factor, but no matter what kind of money I ever came into, I would never spend 30k ish for a rubber strap watch..

I would love to see Rolex’s profit margin on these models

I hate the whole YM line, I can't seem to put a finger on why, I just do. Air King is a very cool watch. I think a lot of people just go with the hype. AK is not hyped because it's entry level, and cheaper than the other SS sports models. I think this will change in the future, and will be a very desired model, especially if the rumor of it being discontinued comes true.

Agree, that's why I think it will be collectible. Rolex will discontinue the current model, and may release a new model in the future with all these and more fixed. I don't know why, but I have a very strong feeling about this. Does anybody know if Rolex produced a lot of Air Kings or is it really unpopular in the real world, and not just here.

Yachtmaster II - just hate the 'Yachtmaster' branding on the bezel.

The hardest modern Rolex to love...?

YM does nothing for me nor does the Daytona. Looks like I’m in the minority but i like the AK (no, I don’t own one).

Air King. It used to look good, now looks terrible. A face only a mother can love.

I had the AK and liked it for a year as a daily then traded for an Expll. Not a YMll or Tona fan..

I don’t mind the AirKing. It’s just got nothing special that would compel me to buy one. It’s a good, no nonsense watch, if that’s what you’re looking for.
