Personally ceramic leaves me cold and much prefer the aluminum inserts. Plus the added bonus of switch them out, as well as the bracelets, as each iteration has its own character. That makes 6 options right there before including any straps. Also less bling in comparison.

Some prefer the ceramic, some love both. Nice to have options.
