Why would you wear a SeaDweller with a suit?

I always french cuff shirts as the cuff is soft and getting pinpoint (higher threadcount) shirts makes the cloth more resilient. Barrel cuffs are abrupt at theit edge.

I only wear long sleeve shirts. Never had this issue. But my wife complains when I cuddle her - it is sharp and she feels it. Only with my Rolex divers.

Funny that this old thread has come back to life. This has never happened to me and I've been wearing Rolex "tool" watches with long sleeve shirts for nearly two decades.

Pretty sure that SD isn't / never was designed to fit under a shirt cuff.

Sir, you need a dress watch.

Being a Florida guy who works in construction management, I'm mostly wearing polo's for work & t shirts on the weekends.

If by any chance I do wear a long sleeve shirt, say for an important meeting or something, sleeves are usually rolled up.

I've worn a Rolex every day for the last 47 years and have never had an issue with my shirts.

I have had cuffs fray and it happens more frequently on the sleeve I wear my watch. But I think it is a combination of the dry cleaning several times and the watch bezel.

Maybe the OP is having his shirts starched. That’s not good, shirts will fray easier. Just say no to starch : )

The only problem I ever had with a shirt was metal cufflinks rubbing on the bracelet - but yeah, as others have said, I’d have the watch under the cuff rather than resting on the hand.

Not ruined any with the Sub.
Breitling with Rider tabs from early 2000's, those works like the stitch remover tools. Lots of shirts, now I wear that watch on warmer days with short sleeves.

None. I think it has more to do with the case thickness than the bezel edges

I suggest that you always wear a watch that fits under the cuff…
