This is a joke, right? Please tell me this serves a special purpose other than "look at my Rolex under a bubble". If not, it's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

might as well leave your hand at home too, I'd imagine that would suffer more consequential damage than whatever watch you have on.....

In that case scenario I would be more worried about my arm than my watch

Why did you need some "bonehead" to help you load 2x4's?

Because it takes two of them to do it.

So you're upset because a 2x4 almost hit your watch and possibly could have done damage to it if it actually made contact, maybe? Then you almost hit the guy helping you because of an accident that didn't happen but could have? Maybe some anger management classes are in order.....seems like you went way overboard over absolutely nothing.

I'm very glad your watch didn't get destroyed in the hypothetical 2x4 accident that quite possibly could have done some damage had it actually happened.

Because that would have stopped damage caused by a falling 2x4. Do you really have to be a salesman for that ridiculous looking and pointless product you say you don't have a vested financial interest in?

If I get beat up, my Explorer II gets beat up. To me, a daily watch is one you don’t have to baby.

It’s a big store where they sell homes. Or in theory, everything you need to build a home. They are quite civilized and safe for any Rolex in my opinion.

Read a recent article of a watch restoration of a 1969 speedy pro worn by a welder as a daily. Looked well used, but survived. So I think your air king can survive Home Depot.

i remember i was on my jetski and i was looking at the time...and i thought, my Rolex could slipped off my wrist and fall into the water....i was gonna post the almost mishap but I'm afraid if i took a pic my cell might hit my Rolex and crack it!

buy insurance and wear gloves! and remember, its a tool watch, even if it is an Air King

and what if (you like "what if" it happens") if it get stolen at home by a break-in,

it belongs on your wrist.

You're way more likely to damage your watch taking it on and off in the bathroom than you are wearing it. Take it from a guy who dropped his Tudor GMT on the tile floor and busted up the bezel, it's safer to leave on the wrist.

So today this happens

4 digit watches like 6239/6241 never leave the house.

5 digit watches can leave the house but only for special occasions.

6 digit watches I would wear every day.

I would never do any form of labour with even a timex.. Restoring a Victorian house for that past 7 years has taught me that.

Glad nothing serious happened to it. What do you mean “to work”? Do you mean that you are not comfortable now wearing the watch for errands and chores? Or are you a carpenter? I don’t wear my watches doing outdoor work, DIY or certain home chores and definitely not to a place where I’d be humping bags of cement or timber etc.
