From experience, the Toki rotor noise is not that much different from the rotor noise on a 5711 with 324SC movement.

None of my other automatics makes the raspy/grindy noise like the Toki did and that includes the patek.

Kurono straps don’t do anything for me. Dials are gorgeous though.

Same here, I’m not the most conservative of people but I’d find it difficult to wear that strap personally

I just received my Seiji today. The original white strap does not do the watch justice, so I had a nubuck grey strap waiting for her arrival. I think this is pretty perfect now:

Saw that. Is this just regular issue and available? I didn’t read ltd edition or 10 minute order window etc.

What I understood is order will be open until the quantity available finishes. They say in hundreds, but they didn't specify quantity.

Same same - yawn

A bit tiring seeing "limited editions" over and over of the same watch models in different colors.
Time for the revered "Sensei" to come up with something fresh and innovative.

(It’s a British colloquialism for “looks a mess”. If you like it though, more power to you! Great thing about this watch thingy is no two people like the same thing!)

Had one in the cart and sold out while processing my payment. I’ve decided I’m done with kurono until they offer at least 5 minutes of cart protection. I know they obviously don’t need my business but I find there desire to not protect those who do things right but need a minute or 2 is unfathomable but they put draconian measures in place to prevent flipping.

I hear you and have been frustrated in the past by similar measures. If you truly are not lined up and fired up ready to go, you have no chance in today’s world of hot watches.

This said, I don’t think Kurono is fully responsible for putting the measures in place. And even if they were, how is it stopping flippers?

You can check out on their site using Apple Pay or Shop Pay. My take is that the security measures are built into those payment platforms for the most part. I am not sure what Kurono can do or not do.

For example, I attempted to check out and had to do an extra step of validation with Amex. I’ve seen that come up before on other e-Commerce sites, so all I really know is it is not unique to Kurono.

The Grand Hagane was worded like the Shiro which was in the "Hundreds" only as well, so I would put the estimate at 800 - 1000.

The Chrono Tokyo stuff that was released before the creation of Kurono Tokyo was 50pcs per dial color, like the Egg Shell or Blue dial etc.

Might someone be able to update this chart to include the 2023 runs? In particular, I'm trying to understand if there are differences in number for different colors of the same model, such as Khaki Calendrier versus Azuki Calendrier and then the different chronos.

I'm still curious which chrono people ended up liking. Was the slimmer white/jade Chrono 3 the best one in the end, or did people like the original black more?
