The other thing I'd add to this conversation, I spent some time in the aeronautical community as a flight surgeon. The lightening bolt and the color orange are pretty much universal signs or icons for engineering under testing. We paint Navy aircraft orange if they are used for training or testing. An overwhelming majority of test squadrons utilize the lightening bolt as part of their logo.

The reason I bring this up is the Milgauss is intended to have a throwback look. The orange and lightening bolt imagery have a very 1950s/1960s look to them. I don't know if this is 100% intentional by Rolex but if you've ever been around an engineering test lab or spent some time in aeronautical testing (which had an obvious boom during this time), you're sure to pick up these accents.

How Would You Describe the Milgauss?

Well put.

I can see why It's similar how some would love or hate on the speedy broadarrow without the leaf chrono second hand. Hate is a strong word. Different strokes, different folks.

I'm with the Ravager.

I like everything about the GV - especially the lightening bolt.

It's a whimsical watch - by Rolex standards - so these flourishes are embraced by folks like me who like the classics as well.

a great looking, technological masterpiece - I like all the colors but especially the GV with that coke bottle green color around the crystal

Don't wanna hate - I want to like the watch - just can't get past it. My issue to be sure - others may like it, just not me

t's Daniel Craig's and Eric Clapton's favourite watch. As you can see it looks fablous as a formal casual and sports watch. P.S. Notice that Daniel proudly wears the Milgauss in a formal 007 environment. Omega must have gone mad :)
