If this is correct, then the new AirKing will have crown guards.

I know this thread is probably being watched and logged...

The XML file was linked to by ???? and available for all to see with a simple click.

From there it was easy to copy and paste the text.

Then a minute remove the undesired text to create what was posted.

The buzz for WaW is now building strong. Once we see the pics and full announcements it's going to be quite thrilling. I predict the 'strongest' sales of any previous year for manufacturers.

Wishing everyone a wonderful show in Switzerland.

Yep. Basic python skills set the watch forums aflutter. Start with a database of models created from a site like C24, add the ones you want to fake, write some python code, and done. A simple sub domain takeover will make it look like it comes from W&W. 5th grade level hacking.

Also, does anyone actually think that Rolex and the other brands would allow the event company to host top secret data on their website? Really?

You think someone would take the time to do eg the new Parmigiani Fleurier releases, which look spot on from my perspective. New Tonda PF models look super interesting.

Last minute prediction — the “new GMT” will be the CHNR with a jubilee bracelet option. The teaser video shows it in black and white or greyscale

The Parmigiani Fleurier is a truly fine timepiece for sure. PF is doing some amazing things, plus i've noticed more wrist shots popping up online :)

I work in tech specifically looks like they are using Akamai cdn as that’s an Akamai MD5 hash reference so I’ve no doubt all those links are legit thy have just removed permissions once they resolved that pages would become live and propagate round the Akamai edge honallu in around 3-10 mins

I would be surprised if web.archive didn’t audit their website for such things or forget to remove previous CNAME record from their DNS zone file?

Edit: neverMind i thought you were talking about the mirror not the WW website with restricted access.

i recall it was Lewi777 who posted to the XLM file that hyperlinked to a WaW page, which at the time was live for anyone to see. You click the link to the WaW page and there was a very basic XML text structure. Someone at WaW must have uploaded the file, and that is what anyone who clicked could have very easily seen at the time. No magic, nothing challenging at all.

If anything, the buzz has built up stronger in anticipation of the many new releases as best i can tell. Please allow me to highly compliment WaW for live streaming during the event. This is something much needed and it looks like they've put in an incredible effort judging by their teaser video.

Regardless of what we think we know, don't know, or perhaps were 'baited' into believing (which would actually be pretty epic of them), WaW 2022 is going to be filled with excitement, incredible interviews, and photos of many new mechanical timepieces.

As we all know, there's no substitute for holding a fine timepiece in your hand. Let's hope there's enough availability for all those who desire.

Not only is this a great find, but a much more fun “leak” than past years. Still plenty of mystery here (Black Bay Pro?!), but some confirmation beyond the teasers. Good stuff u/harvey_charmichael!

Well, am kinda 'old' at this as it's been years since visiting this, so not sure if this still applies. In the 'old days' a webmaster would setup a robots.txt file in the main site directory. In that text file inset:

User-agent: ia_archiver
Disallow: /

The above code stops web.archive from doing its thing. Again, am not sure if the above is still true, or if there are other 'systems / code' needed to not have web.archive do its thing. But as i recall that is how we did it back in the old days.

Dude chill out, have you already forgotten the previous year leaks? Yes, Rolex would allow W&W to have their releases prepared for release on March 30th, how do you think the web devs have the info publish tomorrow if they don’t have few days to build the pages?
