Have removed Bob’s from my bookmarks. Thanks for posting. I would have been pissed. I bet the amplitude is fine.

Thanks to all for your thoughts on this company.
Was about to buy something but glad I checked here first. The facts as mentioned here is a deal breaker. Anyone have any experience with European Watch Co. or positive experiences with any other online dealer that can be recommended ( Capetown, Furman ) ? |

Two thoughts:
1) I have never bought or sold with Bob's as their prices are high except when they buy. 2) I have heard this same story plenty of times. They make an offer, you send it in, then they reduce the offer. Pretty normal for them. Sorry for your experience. I would have taken the 12k at the end and be done with it, that was the price no? |

Old thread, but OP I would have seen if Bob's would pay you the 12K before you ship with their label given the problems in the deal which they caused. It makes no sense for you to keep the watch all scratched up and maybe opened where they finally agreed to pay the 12k which was originally agreeable to you if you can do the deal where there is no risk to you.

It is pretty normal for every grey market dealer if you sell to them. Especially if you're located overseas. |
