Oh wow this is a dream come true such a great match up for the World Series - Dodgers v. Yankees.

Its going to be an awesome series. All eyes will be on Ohtani and Judge who have less than stellar post seasons so far!

Stanton and Soto for the Yankees stood out for me so far in the divisional playoffs, while the Dodgers had many stand out contributors too.

Ohtani's been playing great, not as good as his regular season but pretty close - 1.03 vs 0.93 OPS so far

Stanton has been our best player this post season though, i'm happy to see it even though Judge has been playing pretty poorly. always felt like Stanton was our x factor

should be a great series

Dodgers pitching desperately needed a break, so the (overly) long pause before Game 1 definitely works in their favor. The rest should help Freeman, too.

For the Yankees, hopefully Torres and Stanton can stay locked in despite the long wait to start playing. Plus Judge was only just starting to get things straightened out, so I don't know how this long break will impact him.

I want to say Yankees in four, but, I don't think it will be that simple... Enjoy the World Series everyone, should be fun!

Dodgers might be getting a couple of decent relievers back (might be) but they still have just the two starters and Buehler. Yamamoto is on a strict 5-day rest regimen, so they won't be able to use him more than twice. Dodgers have a chance, but their lack of starters will be a real handicap. Not much margin for error.

I'm going to say Dodgers in 7, coming from behind in the series and winning the last two games in LA. An all-time classic world series. Mookie wins MVP.

Dodgers in 6 as much as I hate to say that. The length of their lineup is superior in my opinion. The pen has been lights out as well.

This is going to be HUGE!!!

This is such an exciting Word Series match up.

Can't wait, its only hours away to game 1. I really hope to see a lot of action, but with high quality pitchers who knows.

Here in Los Angeles it is electric! The Freddie walk off was epic! Still have 3 games to win and NY will not be backing down. As a long time Dodger fan this is so much fun. Decided to wear the BLRO for the game today. Felt like the one.

Bottom of the 10th with 2 outs in World Series game 1 = Déjà vu!

Scared the crap out of my kids screaming in joy at Freddie’s grand slam. That’s my favourite sports moment ever.

(Nice to see ex-young-Dodger Verdugo make that catch beforehand, though can’t say I appreciated it in the moment!)

Freddie Freeman has had that moment every backyard 9 year old dreams of while smashing a ball over the neighbor's fence.

He mentioned that in the post-game interview...

And dedicated the GS to his Dad for all the years of support.

This is baseball's greatest moment - a walk-off Grand Slam.

I have to agree. Baseball allows the tension and drama to simmer in a way no sport that plays against a clock can. The games within the game. And the notion that a guy who looks somewhat like us non-athletes with a bad ankle who is going through it like we are, can walk off slam a World Series game... it's like we're in it.

It is bloody amazing to me, to watch a bunch of grown men, professional athletes, all turn into little league 10 year olds when stuff like this happens. Amazing

First World Series Grand Slam walk off, what a way to start the series. And to do it in the 10th innings.....

It was a close game and I'm hoping the Yankees will bring their A game tonight.
