I like the old oyster quartz case and the dial is ok. I’m not so fond of the hands as they appear a bit unfinished. The hour markers and numerals are a bit plain too. Perhaps next iteration will be bit more interesting. Definitely a daily wear though.

Can definitely be an everyday watch. I reckon it wears similar to a DJ.

Speaking about the SS Version.

It's an every day watch, in my judgement, but not a do anything watch.

i heard there was an internal Rolex document saying the new Land-Dweller should ONLY be worn on days ending in 'y'. So avoid those days.

Yeah, basically a revival of the 1530!

This is so much more to my liking ….. and a date free version would be even better IMO

Why not? All Rolex watches are incredibly durable.

It is really a step up from the DateJust. The movement and the reversion to the claspless jubilee bracelet. Sure it’s a little more bling. I would be sure there be a plethora of good dial choices.

With a black or bright blue lacquer stick dial it should hit the spot.

Launch configuration is a bit of a mishmash and very dressy even with the 6, 9 markers.

That said I have placed an expression of interest in the expectation that more dial options will be available by the time I get a call.

It’s rather dressy/ blingy, but I’d wear it with jeans, because that’s how I normally dress. My TT Wimbledon is pretty blingy, and I wear it a lot. I choose my watch based on my mood, not my attire. I am more likely to wear the Wimbledon on special occasions, when I do dress up.
