My guess is that waiting lists of no-more-hot-references have mainly been skimmed from professional flippers who are well aware of the situation.

Now this new reality is starting to reach the mainstream flippers which is the mass. For sure they will tell their friends. It will have a small snowball effect.

We have to be patient and expect some latency. :)

15450 box and papers for 28k (short 3 links). That’s about retail + tax of the latest price.

It’s happening. Royal oaks going down particularly hard. Retail on many refs soon IMO

Did you miss the silver dial? Bnib at $50k, couldn’t sell, so he’s pulled and tried to relist at $55 and $59 as if everyone is dumb lol

Needless to say, still unsold

It’s a beautiful thing for the community. Especially the ones that want a royal oak at retail. Hopefully it will drive the flippers away for specific models and watches can be obtained by collectors again.

Yeah that's what's a punch in the gut, as that's the exact ROC I want, exact color and all. So many were *immediately* flipped, I'm patiently waiting though. Cautiously optimistic I can maybe get one next year as the 50th rotors will also have subsided by then.

Ooof.... Getting close! Thank you and dmash for the updates. Sad for my wealth on paper but I don't care since I'm keeping all of mine.

There's a certain amount of schadenfreude, esp for people who ruined their relationship flipping a new Chrono for a few bucks...

Yes.

I'm a Monochrom guy, so the blues are greens are fun on paper and to look at, but I wouldn't like to own.

Still there. Also seen Black for 26ish.

Pepsi Jubilee w/Card ended at auction for 17.7K

Seemed like a lot of Pepsis were available this weekend.

I saw a silly amount of Pepsi listings coming out specifically on Sunday.

Feels like that model is ready for a leg down.

We hit June lows on Friday but then big bounce Mon/Tuesday in the markets 3% each day so not really sure how people are feeling.

Even on this forum they are going for 17-18k and BLNRs are at 16?!?

Rewind 6 months and they were a good 10k higher. Amazing how times have changed

Someone know the current buy price (by greys/secondary market dealers)? Which margin do they take in this uncertain market?

From what I hear, many are not buying, and if they do, then at the retail price. Please someone correct me if you had different experience.

15510white 46k and not a single comment. Bnib full set too

Another thing others are overlooking is that Rolex flippers will stay in the game for even a few grand over MSRP because it’s essentially untraceable. AP (happily!) has a better system for tracking flippers since it’s registered to you. Guys aren’t going to burn their AP connection for $5k, has to be much more lucrative than that. These fall much lower I believe it will have a domino effect to *really* dip, as flippers will pass even though there’s technically still money on the table.

At least my 2c.

I think it was in this thread where someone linked a Youtube video from CRM jewelers where the owner is on the phone telling a seller/flipper that he was a buyer at or below MSRP for (previously) popular Rolex models.

Aside from the uncertainty & hassle, you would likely get more selling on the board here, by splitting the difference between MSRP & grey pricing.
