Good morning everyone, I have just caught up with the goings on here in the Girl's Coffee Shop from over the weekend as I'm am taking a break from rewriting the outline and notes for the lecture/program I am giving tonite for one of the local Garden Clubs. I have been asked to share my knowledge and will be covering the Basic Horticultural Principles which need to be addressed in order to have success in growing plants. These concepts are good for growing all plants no matter what type or climate they come from.....
Take it easy.....Leo

Yes we have these Michelle, nice way to describe them. Much better quality than M&M's

They used to come in tubes, with a plastic lid, that had a letter on the back. I used to collect them. The game was if your mate could guess the letter then you would have to hand over the contents

I must of consumed thousands of packets, can't remember where all the lids went. I've just read they are quite collectable now, even the different fonts are marveled over, bit like Rolex dials I think.

They come in stupid hexagon packets now, no more lids.

Great looking deck Michelle. That must be a nice place to spend in an evening when it's not too cold.

Sorry Man but when Loki and his merry band of alien baddies come-a-knocking on earths door it takes more than 1 billionaire with interesting inventions and a black car to save the day. Earth needs a flying genius billionaire and a whole group of reluctant heroes with superpowers, and a hot chick.
Gotta have a hot chick.

Good morning Wes!! (and its a dark and rainy one here...hard to wake up..); Well-the consumption of 1000's of smarties during one's developmental years is said to increase a person's IQ!!

Good morning Carl! (don't you have to be in school soon young man? )
What made this movie so enjoyable was Robert Downey Jr- as Iron Man- he is hilariously funny and gives a good comedic balance to the other heroes who take themselves soooo seriously!

Yep it looks a such a great solid job he's done. I'm impressed. Nothing like that is easy, especially if your not a carpenter by trade. But I would rather try and do it myself if I can rather than get a trademan.

Knocked up this in my garden this summer. The whole area is a bit tidier now, mum planted some flowers in the brick bed. Also put some Jasmine on the front posts, and some clematis on the back wall, nothing has really grown much. Obviously want it to get it over the top. Will have to take another pic.

Wes- thats amazing! We have a Virginia Creeper vine that has thrived on our trellis- iThe one we have grew up pretty fast and is so hardy- heavy winter snow; dry summer droughts...it just keeps on growing!

Yes white lights would look cool on it. I just want it all to grow, am impatient. This summer took out most of the hedge/plants from the back and front of the house, all was bland nothing flowered. And been planting quite a bit back. If you remember that pic of the front of the house, planting was quite bare, as nothing has really grown yet. Also put a wisteria in, might look nice if this grew up the house. Maybe wish Id got someone in to do it as don't really know what I'm doing. Mums been helping. Guess I have to leave it for a couple years and see what's what.

That clay oven thing looks cool. Think I just wanna get a new gas BBQ and some chairs in there. But like I said want the climbers all over it.

I have to keep myself busy while eating breakfast Michelle...don't worry though, I'm never late!

I know Downey Jr. was quite funny in Ironman, I guess it was only logical to make him keep his funny attitude in this movie as well.

LOVE Smarties!!!! But we don't get them here.... I grew up eating these....hubby loves them too. Every now and then we pop into a British shop here and get some. Ridiculously priced but a craving is a craving!

So I was down in Knightsbridge today, and decided to do some shopping.

I got Lisa a 36mm DJ, diamond dial and bezel. Blue arabic dial. (No lume on hands, sorry).
I got Michelle a 31mm platinum DJ, ice blue roman dial.
Carl I stopped in the Ferrari garage and picked up this old banger for you, but I fell in love with it on the drive home and I'm keeping it. So you get nowt.

You should send this to Ken (Steelersfan65) instead, he's the real lego enthusiast...

...Still, since you had the thought, I'm going to give you a little something as well...

Thank you Wes!!- A platinum DJ...ice blue dial....I think you know me pretty well by now!!!.
Seriously, that would be a better Grail watch for me, rather then the WG Daytona that I had been drooling over...because- by the time I'm able to afford my Grail watch- i might be well into my late 60s, so a Plat.DJ will look much nicer on my older wrist, then a huge heavy Daytona...

So lets talk nails

So I got accosted by a sales girl in a department store today. She asked me to give her my hand, and before I knew it she was polishing my nails, or nail. She used some sort of polishing block, looked like something I sharpen my chisels on. Her sales pitch was your significant other would love this.

Well I managed to escape her, but later when looking at my nail, I couldn't believe how shiny, glossy and smooth it was, it looked like glass. This product is a miracle and the shine has lasted all day. My nail has never looked so good and healthy.

I've gotta get out this girls coffeeshop.
