I don’t know if you’ve driven either or both but I prefer paddle shift and keeping both hands on the steering wheel, others prefer manual. There’s no right or wrong but PDK is faster 0-60 and gives the car launch control, it is an upgrade over a manual 911.

Def my preferred gearbox on this 911. 7-speed manual on a car designed with PDK in mind is not my cup of tea.

997, I would take a 6 speed manual.
