Yes Vince, I bought it (the 15500) from AP House here in the Uk in May last year and then a ROC Silver dial 50th anniversary in the Autumn.

But as I said I tend to prefer 3 handers so a 15510 would be uppermost on my wish list with AP at some point.

Thanks for confirming my own thoughts here.

As we all know the AP bracelet is a work of art so it’s the default choice but having another strap (rubber/alligator) to pop it it on is ideal to dress it down a bit.

I’m going to pop into AP House soon to chat through the best options for me

Would you consider a navy leather strap for this?
Or you prefer rubber that much more?

ps beautiful wrist shot!

Thnks, I prefer rubber. You’re the second one to ask, a buddy of mine had the same thoughts. But for me, rubber is the way to go. After all, the RO is a sportswatch;-)

Wow when I was a soldier in my 20’s I would never have worn a good watch for any type of military activity. I could never have afforded a RO back then anyway.

I hope it doesn’t end up looking like it’s done a tour in Afghanistan.

Haha I hear you. It’s just the range, so no craziness. It’ll come back looking fine, maybe a little dusty, but that’s it.
If I do anything more arduous then I wear my DSSD :)

Omega Planet Ocean XL is my range/exploring watch. If it was good enough for Bond to take on missions it's good enough for me lol. I have had it for 10 years and it still looks almost brand new. That thing can take a real beating.

I have an old PO I haven’t worn in the better part of 6 years now. Would love to see a pic of yours!

I have had this for many years. Not quite daily but wear it a lot, especially as of late. Still love the 39mm and wish AP would do more than just the jumbo in these proportions.

Here you go (on the Spectre NATO strap)!

Every time I put it on it reminds me how great Omegas are and how much bang for your buck you get with them. I also have a blue sea master and is also an excellent watch.

Blue. In the light that blue really pops more but in the shadows it can easily appear black.

This is why blue is so amazing as a dial. So many levels to it. Congratulations!

How long did it take for you to get the nod from the boutique since you requested it!

Wearing 15416CE today. Newest in the collection, and just want to wear it everyday.
