I have a question regarding the manual wind RM pieces, i.e. the 35 and 55. Can these watches be overwound? What is the ideal number of winds required to reach full power reserve in these pieces.

Figured I would ask here before presenting the question to an AD!

Thanks,

JPS

The 55 as well as the 27 and 35 series are for my tastes the coolest ones out there, I asked a member here who had a 55 and a 35-01 which he preferred and he tad me without hesitation the 55, haven't had the chance to see either, saw the 11 though, with and without the GMT but prefer simple when it comes to RM….

Very cool Roger, don't know why but I've always liked ceramic, almost pulled the trigger on a Pam 335 but went for the 233 "dot dial" instead, it looks good but is nothing compared to RM or AP ceramic, the brushed and polished surfaces in the same piece are amazing whereas the Pam is brushed everywhere, anyone know the resistance of AP ceramic? I read black diver is 1350 vickers and white one is 1800, is that correct? And the resistance in vickers for the RM and Pam ceramic? Pam not very important but would like to know for the RM, I suppose it's as resistant or even tougher than AP quality ceramic, if you know thanks for sharing

055 is by far most comfortable watch I have ever tried, and the only white watch I like... never tried any of the Nadals but can't imagine that weight 8or the absence of weight) on the wrist...

It does, I would love a grey ceramic or cermet, that would look cool also I think, of all "special" materials ceramic has always been the one appealing the most to me and always wanted a watch made from it but couldn't find one which I really enjoyed until the ceramic diver, the finition is just perfect, love he polished/brushed differences, simply great, the 44 is great also but I'm not really a chrono fan so I prefer the diver, but ceramic on a RM now that's very cool as well...

This thread is full of some bad boy watches.

I will admit I didn't "get" RM's until I went with a friend who has an 11 to try some on. After that I was converted...

I suspect I will have my eyes on a 10 or 29 at some (pretty far) point down the line...contemplating the 11 would lead to instant death by wife.

For sentimental reasons I wish I loved the Korea edition but in official pics doesn't look so hot - anyone have any live pics?

This is closest of a live pic I got from ablogtowatch... 011 Korea from assembly line... it also shows that it will look nice with the NTPT crown...
