But Bill, we're talking about MEN'S undergarments. You know - skivvies. I'd have to check with Wes, but I believe women's undergarments are referred to as knickers.

Carl, that is a very nice penny! The words "In God We Trust" look a little different than on the modern day penny. Might just be my imagination. Wouldn't it be amazing to know where that penny has been?

Michelle! Beautiful card. Do you hand paint each one, or are they printed from your paintings?

That's a very interesting yet tricky question Lisa! The older those pennies are, the more places you think they actually went to and they must hold quite a lot of history indeed!

...However, would you really like to know where the money you handle everyday has been?

Your are an excellent role model and example for your son to learn by and you are correct...we are a dying breed and it's not easy to do in this plastic throw away society.....

Also your parental job is never done as I just spent three hours on the phone talking my son(28 yrs. old and living 700 miles away) out of being impulsive and making a rash decision which could potentially alter his life for ever..... I just can only trust I got through to him and he promised me to be rational and think first before he reacts.....now all I can do is trust in him to wait till we get down there in a week!!!

Carl, great picture of a US penny.....I collect Early American copper coins(Large Cents and Half Cents)and colonial coins as well.....and I to wonder who's hands they may have gone through. Have you ever held early Canadian Large Cents from the 1800's...they are beautiful as well...that was when money was money!!!

Thank you Leo, would you have pictures of your coins?

I've never heald one of those large cents but I have a rather wide one from 1929, I believe it's from the United Kingdom (which was, I believe, called Great Britain back then).

Now here's a little story I forgot to write yesterday. You know we all have those crazy drivers on the road who don't know how to keep a good distance between them and the car in front of them and you often see people sticking funny things at the back of their cars to give you a sign (something à la "if you can read this, you're too close"). I must admit I'm really not a stickers-on-cars man and a lot of them are quite cheesy but yesterday I happened to read one that really made me laugh.

I was at a red light just when I got off the highway and in front of me was a car at the intersection. I was waiting for the light to turn green when I noticed it, on his bumper there was a little sticker in the shape of those bubbles in which you see text in comic books with this message inside:

If you get any closer...I'll fart!

...I thought it was funny!

Well just checked the Oxford dictionary, and it does say descriptive of mens's underwear. But it is definitely used universal here, for both men's and women.

Good to know! "Undercrackers" isn't even in our dictionary.

I still can't get past the mental image of sparks flying as one walks, due to wearing undercrackers.

Carl, that bumper sticker definitely gets the message across - while bringing a little levity to the situation!

I'm the only person I know personally that uses the word 'Skivvies'. Wendy had never even heard the term before knowing me.

If I ever do that won't be for this Christmas Wes, I already have a Winter coat and the Bane one is a tad out of my budget right now! I'll leave it to Bane Kitty instead...

well its not because he is stubborn !!
When i had sent my christmas cards to him in October, (in exchange for his greatest hits CD ), the mail delivery time- from Canada to UK, was so SLOW......Wes made a comment about how the mail is delivered by Donkey.....so I thought it fitting to put a donkey in this years card !
