Pic of latest project custom Harley completed Oct '07 have a couple of others, sportster is for my girlfriend to ride, completing the bike gave me spare time which lead to surfing the net, which lead me to RWT, which lead to me buying a stunning SS No Date Sub from one of your members, who I must say was a true gentleman, watch is in customs at the moment should be delivered in a few days.

I ride a 2000 Ninja ZX-12R and a 2001 CBR 929. I always have my Sub on. If I go down my last concern is my watch or my bike. BTW My wife loves her Ninja 250 and rides with a Tag Heuer. If I could only get her to upgrade the bike or the watch.

I usually use a Garmin Edge GPS/bike computer when I ride however if I forget to bring it the EXP 2 usually comes along. No harm done yet.

This is one of my rides an 05 Sanat Cruz Blur with full XTR drivetrain.

I've posted this bicycle in this same thread the first pic is when I have it brand new back in 2005 I think. The second one is how it looks like now after some weight shedding. Am running slicks but have a pair of Panaracer Razer 2.1 knobbies to swap when I go off road. Bike is tipping the scale(based on exel spreadsheet info) at 9253g with slicks on OEM weight is 11500g thereabouts.

Beautiful motorcycle Mitch I like the look of the 4 speed frame. Looks like the FLH's of the 70's- early 80's Plus you have the reliability of the Evo engine

The tranny looks like a 5 in a 4? What size is the motor? Any work done to it?

That brought back some nice memories of spring a mere 13 years ago. It's nice to know that there is a '95 SP still being loved out there. Kinda rare as I think they only made around 125 of them. And another fun ride from that same spring, one of the first 916's. 1995 saw some really great bikes from Ducati. Wish I had a fly yellow Superlight now.

I spend a great deal of time and money in preserving and expanding Off Road recreational areas and opportunities. Sometimes that work can be very frustrating, sitting in way too many committee meetings...

Sometimes it can be very rewarding, like re-opening StraddleLine ORV sports park in Washington state, or going for a ride with Travis

Here's today's ride south of San Luis Obispo (Central California Coast) with my GMT 16710. 80 degrees outside. After a few weeks of piss'in rain, finally an early spring day. The bottom pict is of me taken at Nevada City a few years ago.

Where do you ride in Washington?

I was an NMA member for about five years when I was riding a lot of hare scrambles and the like, but now it's mostly just trail riding, when I get the chance that is.

I've ridden a lot out at Belfair (who hasn't in WA? ) I've also ridden quite a bit out toward Randle in the Gifford Pinchot forest, up around Hamilton Butte. Some gorgeous trail riding out there. Plus, some local yokel spots in and around Tacoma, and also in eastern Washington when I get the chance.

Yes, I read about Sheldon Brown on CyclingNews and PEZ. No relation, but I understand he had an encyclopedic brain for cycling facts. I remember reading his Bicycling Magazine articles back in the day....

I'm AMA, NMA and ABATE, a life member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition, Vice Chair of WOHVA, the Washington Off Highway Vehicle Alliance, I'm also a Board member of the Washington State Trails Coalition, and Mason County Parks and Trails Board; these commitments really cut into my ride time...

Back in the 80's I did a lot of off road including some Casey Folk's Best of the Desert Races, and one Whiskey Pete's; now I just play in the woods [mainly local yokel or PSER trails] when I get a chance, I'll ride Tahuya on a rainy Monday [love Gore Tex] when I usually have most of the trails to myself, sometimes the Shelton Valley Enduro...

I also enjoy street [old Shovel and Bandit 1200] and dualsport, I have a Suzuki DR800 that does surprisingly well in the trails even two up, it's 10 years old now, still tractors along [an 800cc single] through just about anything, but Dave Hiatt's KTM 950 Super Enduro sure looks tempting... maybe someday I'll go talk to Cary Condotta in Wenatchee about that Cary rides a 950 Adventure, even came out to StraddleLine for the Opening ceremonies on the big KTM, thanks Cary... And a big thanks to Representatives Blake, DeBolt, Hinkle, Kristiansen, Warnick, Senator Sheldon and County Commissioner Beerbower, we wouldn't have StraddleLine without these people
