Prefer and purchased the No date Sub. Other than the symmetry, I didn't like the feeling of last day of the month calendar confusion.

While I don't mind the cyclops on other Rolex, I really prefer the clean & symmetrical face of the "no date" submariner

I have always loved both but I just had to have the sub with the cyclops. I now am yearning for the sub no date. I just love the clean dial & how it looks.

Date or no date
I bought the no date because I like the clean look. I like both, but have other Rolex watches that have the date function. Wearing a no date Rolex is not a problem for me. They are all beautiful.

I have this uncanny knack of remembering what the day's date is.
For this reason I prefer the Submariner. scooter |

Bought all versions and then decided the sub no date was perfect for me and sold the rest.

I agree, the cyclops is an iconic motif. And apart from the time, the date is the most useful thing a watch does on a daily basis. Function wise of course, not being bad ass etc.
Hence my Pelagos, can't afford the sub yet, or more realisticly don't want to rationalise collection to fit one in, but love the flat crystal and the date. I don't think any of that makes sense... Just like having a box that keeps my watches wound that cost more than my first car. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk |

I preferred the look of the 14060M but disliked the old folded steel end links so ended up with the 16610 which I got in 2009 just before the new models came into AD's. Decision made!

I opted for the no date for the cleaner look of the watch and that I have a PO. Both serve their function. If it was my only watch, I would have opted for the date
