Well they did make a full yellow gold a few years back, not sure if it was under the 5711 ref though. About it coming back you are sure? I know that AP launched a few RO in YG, not sure though if other brands are doing the same, I prefer white metals, and like RG, because it is quite a soft color, I find YG too bright for my taste, it seems I prefer it more on strap watches than on bracelet ones, just too much yellow on bracelet ones for my tastes Quote:
In any case this forum is a great place to be and like you all know, you can't please everyone in life, except if you stay in your corner and shut your mouth There is a much better one in your head, the same function which permits you to either read and ignore, or just ignore, I thought we all had this function |

To clarify further, some Chinese are not offended by what is not offensive at all.

I speak to him in english and he doesn't understand, thus the "am I speaking chinese?" Chinese as far as I know is the hardest language on earth, thus apart the chinese themselves very few people speak it as it is incredibly difficult to learn, so instead of taking it in an offended way, or neutral, you should take it as it really is, a compliment. It is very often used in France in this context, and not at all in a way saying that chinese and their language are barbarians or something like that, but exactly the contrary, quite strange that you saw there something offensive or some kind of racism, even in France there is absolutely no anti chinese or asian racism, really, anti black, arab, jew, yes there can be, there are idiots everywhere and we also have our lot of them in france, but never heard of any anti chinese racism, some people are jealous because more and more businesses are owned by chinese people, who buy them from french owners, I say good for them if they work hard, it just shows that with hard work anything is possible, but some people are jealous, but without any kind of racism coming out of this... Chinese history and culture is something enormous, and like is often the case, civilizations which have been very complex have a very complex language, I really didn't think it was possible to take this in a bad way as thinking about it just a little, or even not at all made it very clear that at the very least this was not offensive |

Lapince, I don't think a response is needed to justify what was clearly a non-race related statement. The forum will be a much less enjoyable place if we tolerate, or worse, entertain hyper-sensitivity.
Btw, i'm a 'minority' too. Let's get back to the new proposed nautilus line shall we? |

I think my post on the RM 35 threads applies equally here. Let's close this and move on.

Oh I agree totally Roger, on one side I won't be attacked by Paul and Martin anymore, since they put my posts on ignore, that should be nice, couldn't say a word without being put on trial as another member put it, the only problem is that it continues, but with other members, we have one RM cult fanatic, and one Patek cult fanatic, no need to say which one is which, and there are a few others, unbelievable, PEOPLE if you find a thread or posts stupid, fine, you have the right of opinion, just don't read them or at least don't answer, what is this becoming, Georgetown or Scientology???

Just been invited to a PP event sometime in September with details to follow. Considering I was at one 2 weeks ago that seems to be forward planning or can I add fuel to the conspiracy???

Same here, but I received a first information about an event in September from my AD already a few days before he went to Baselworld. The premilinary agenda didnīt show Nautilus specific content back then, though.

That's very cool Karl and Felix, I hope you can download a few pics on TRF directly from the party or when you arrive home, would really LOVE to know as quickly as possible what are the new models, would love to see as soon as possible if there is a good one, and Karl you need a Nautilus to go with your awesome PP's.
When is the event? To see if you have the same date, and in what places, or place if it's the same? |

I hope the 40th anniversary will bring at least one:
(1) skeleton 5711 (2) perpetual calendar similar to the 5726 but with a date counter instead of the 24 hr and no date window |

Rumor: been told "it" will be delivered in october. It, meaning one new piece. No details on price or "what" it is, however my guy knew and absolutely wouldn't tell me (good for him)....but I'm personally thinking blue face white gold 5711, a la 3700, possibly with no running seconds hand. Will be allocated to "friends of the brand" but have no further info, such as if it will be "limited by number."

Lapince- agreed, completely. Just relating to the community what I was told...and fwiw, I hope my prediction is wrong because I would like something more "interesting or functional," like a skeleton, or a better clasp.

20th anniversary of AC was a new dial colour and breguet numerals. Have to be honest that a 40th anniversary Nautilus in another metal or dial colour would just be........yawwwwn
oh and that's all I expect for a pretty uneventful milestone...not exactly 50th!! |

Also; I think Hautetime wrote "the collection" will be released ...which alludes to more then one model. Ohh rumors.

I was invited and going to an event in September in NYC, but I have been told it is a Minute Repeater event. I have not been told it has anything to do with the Nautilus unless of course it is a Nautilus Minute Repeater.

Seems like we have events all over the world in September. Not sure you would do that for a minute repeater considering the existing waiting list and number of people who can afford them
