If as said before the only thing that is gonna change is the font size. Then maybe as long as you have a large font addition your ok. Or if they only produce a few of the small font size pieces those might be the ones to get. Who knows? I bought #589 the only 2 ADs that carry Tudor within 100 miles of me only one had one. So my hands were a bit tied. But the number doesn't bother me I like the watch regardless of #.

Agreed, regardless of collectibility etc, this watch is a total winner through and through . Tudor really hit it out of the park with this one

Ok guys I have an update of sorts. Today I picked up the 2016/2017 Tudor catalogue (Highly recommend picking up a copy). The LHD is listed and interestingly it states all individually numbered using LARGE Arabic numerals.

I think we can forget about the font shrinking in size

Not that I have seen. My AD got 40 on launch date and 789 2 weeks later. They are coming out totally randomly form what I have seen and been told at a few ad's.

I am looking for 75 or 1975. If I cannot find that the $$ will go towards a 4.2m serial Rolex.

The plan was confirmed a page or two back. They're going to 4 digits and reducing the font size.

If Russel Kelly from Tudor is correct (which he should be) they will go to a smaller font and keep numbering. He is @rslkly on Instagram.

Icon1 951 and climbing. 4 digit batch mentioned.

Adding to my list of identified numbers from various AD visits. Today I encountered number 951.

I was told by the sales executive that the next batch they will receive would be in February and the sequencing will continue into the 4 digit range.

Tudor pelagos LHD- whats your number???

My view is that if there are two watches with the same number its enough reason not to buy one.

That would be such a poor mimic. It would feel almost as a fake watch.

Sorry if my opinion upsets someone here.

Repeated numbers is a big no-no

Thats why im still confident that its not true. Otherwise it would be a disgraceful idea from them.

PS: Im unarmed, dont shoot !

It has been definitively answered that this is not the case. They are going to 4 digit numbers with a smaller font.

N.119.
Picked it up yesterday from my AD in Greece (no Tudor or Rolex in MK).
I contacted my AD the day the LHD was announced, and it was ordered it a day or two later. I was told that 119 was the lowest number available at that time. It turns out you could order any number if you were quick enough.
I found out later that Tudor delivered only two LHD in Greece, but I can't confirm that it.
As a southpaw I can say that I couldn't have asked for a better timepiece.

From photos, it appears the date wheel background and bezel lume are also aged to match the hands & markers - can an owner please confirm?

Also, is the dial writing also slightly aged, or is it the same white as the standard Pelagos?

Thanks in advance.

The date wheel is aged to match. The dial print is a chalky white, but appears to be the same as the standard pelagos.
