Unless it’s vintage or an heirloom, who cares? The guy was 21 and getting some ass. Do you really expect him to worry that he will be the 1 in a million who gets their watch jacked and diligently plan accordingly? Did any of you do that when you were that age? He is literally 100x more likely to catch an STD from that chick than to have her steal his watch, a (potential) lifelong problem. And if you are the 1 in million and the watch is stolen, you call your insurance company and they send you a check.
Should he not fly in a Rolex in case the plan crashes? Or don’t swim in it in case a shark bites his arm off? You can’t go through life worrying about the statistical anomalies, particularly ones that cause no physical harm. |
