By that you mean thicker? Does the strap go under the case like the Black Bay? Inwas curious to see if that exaggerated the thickness any. Congrats on getting it, looks great.

Yes the strap goes under the watch

Don’t find it too heavy on NATO

Meant seems to wear much the same as my black bay on leather

Tudor GMT incoming

Looks amazing! Does anyone know why the bezel on the Tudor seems to be more accurate in color than Rolex?

Edited. I just looked it up, and it’s aluminum. Makes sense.

I would love to see this on a RubberB strap that's curved to fit snugly against the case.

Picked up mine today. My dealer here in Yorkshire only had 2.
It’s a lovely watch and looks much nicer in the flesh. The bezel is gorgeous and has a matte finish to it.

Also had a look at the Pepsi gmt and tried to buy it but no chance unfortunately.

Congrats on the watch but this post has upset me a little.

When I put my name down I was assured by my local AD they were having 20 delivered at the start of June and although I'm number 18 on the list I'd be getting a call as soon as they were released.

Just rang them to confirm and they now tell me that while they haven't arrived yet they are expecting just 11 for the whole company (40 stores). I could be waiting a very long time.

Deposit returned

Not sure what is going on. I was on the list but not sure what position as I only added it last month. They got 2 and maybe 2 for their other branch and we’re starting to ring up and the first to appear would get 1st refusal. I actually called in there this morning just to enquiry if they had got any and she replied yes and it’s yours if you want it!! They did not know eta of next batch!

I was at the PGA golf 2 weeks ago and popped into the Rolex pavilion - briefly

asked about the pepsi rolex as I am about number 47 at my AD and got nothing very encouraging that the wait would be less than forever

had an old model Black Bay red on which he noticed and commented on - told him I was number 1 on the list for that watch at my AD and he said well done as the demand for that watch is also very high and he said general supply would be slow for a while at least

obviously the AD's did not really know what or when or how many they were getting - I went in to check the position 2 weeks ago and they thought late June was possible but didn't know for sure

they called me on Saturday morning as they had received only one on NATO but did not know when they would get one on leather which was my choice - they said the wait might be a long one for my actual choice. so I got in the car had a look, liked it on the NATO and bought it there and then

they did give me the warranty card but thought about it before doing so

I feel for any members affected by supply issues but has not stopped almost 10 being on ebay already at £3500 to £4250 - very annoying

Going to have to say it looks from the real world pics that the dial has a bunch of blank real estate and prolly should have been maxi plot. Awaiting my call and hope irl is a bit more balanced

I only put my name, hopefully, on a list for the Tudor GMT as like others I have all but given up on getting a SS BLRO anytime soon. Does anyone know how much in the UK the bracelet, leather and NATO straps cost to purchase separately from the watch? I'm not actually that keen on the bracelet but it's often the case that buying the bracelet later costs a lot more than the £220 difference in price between it and the strap models. Also I would like to get the Rubber B black/red strap but use it with a deployant clasp which only comes with the leather strap. I probably actually like the NATO strap version the most but not seen any in the flesh and I might not get a choice of model as no doubt it will depend on what comes into stock.

No sure on the strap cost's but I was qouted £190 for the clasp and I think somewhere it the region of £500-£600 for the bracelet.

Thanks guys. Buying the bracelet version was probably always going to be the best value option but I suspect the decision will more be a case of what's actually available.
