For occasions like weddings etc I would solve the problem by just buying an Explorer 39mm and be done with it!

20 hours of flight time plus about 7 hours of a layover, but we made it. My wife and I are enjoying the pool while the bride and groom are busy with last minute items ahead of their big day.

And platona has 100m water resistant. So your planning playing in water wouldnt harm.

LVc was a great option, but having the GMT has already been useful. It’s a great and practical complication, and this SS BLRO is my first owned GMT, so breaking it in.

The Platona was a close second. But a SS GMT was very practical and useful for this trip.

This is exactly why I want an Explorer. Dressy enough but also not too sporty.
