I have been following Delonge for a couple years and find him credible. I tend to believe most of what he has been saying and hinting at. Here is a brief summary of some of what he says.

1.There is a Non-Human "Phenomena" behind these UAP's.

2. U.S. and Russia have advanced Black Triangle craft which occasionally investigate and bait the UAP's. Black Triangles are inferior technology to the UAP's.

3. Meta Materials exist that are intelligently created and not capable of construction from Current Human Technology.

4. The "Phenomena" is occasionally dangerous, abducting Humans, Interfering with Human Consciousness, and occasionally killing Humans.

5. The "Phenomena" has been interacting with humans for thousands of years.

Perhaps the less they have to do with us the better.

Here is a navy pilot talking about how wherever the carrier strike group was, the UAP's were there. They either followed the carrier strike group or just happened to be where they were.

I don’t discount any of this, but I flew hundreds of sorties from Aircraft Carriers over three six-month deployments and a shorter one during Desert Storm. I probably have 2,000 hours flight time off the boat and over two years of my life living on a carrier while cruising the seas. Besides the F-18 squadrons we knew and worked closely with all the other birds, A-7s, S-3s, E-2s, H-3 helicopters, F-14s. Not once, ever, was there ever a mention of a UFO or any kind of extraterrestrial (possible) sighting. We had our hands full with Russian Bears, Su-27s, etc. I find this very interesting why now it is all of a sudden big news. I’d really like to speak with the guy, one Hornet-driver to another, to form an honest and unbiased opinion, I just find it ... interesting.... that an experienced Naval aviator like myself never heard or encountered anything remotely like these experiences in my 12 year career.

30 year Aviation veteran here with over 20,000 flight hours mainly in Commercial Jet Aircraft. Never seen anything that couldnt be explained the whole time. The conversation comes up a lot with crews and I never heard any other stories either. Now I am realistic and dont discount it at all but I havent seen it.

Perhaps we are living in a different time where the phenomena has dramatically increased activity?

The Pentagon and Navy are certainly supporting the commentary by these pilots.

Very Interesting times we live in. It might be easier to evaluate some things as more information is available. I think we are only at the beginning of disclosure.

I got my Private in the early 90's, my dad got his in the 50's. I have hung around some commercial and ATP's over the years. I did some time in CAP.

Most of the more seasoned pilots I have known say the same thing as you.

I haven't done PIC in a while, I am busy now getting my son interested in aviation. We rented a Cirrus, what a 21st century cockpit! Synthetic Vision and everything. Nothing like the steam gages I learned on in the C172.

It seems to me you had the 99.9% experience that the vast majority other fliers have had, Paul - no visual anomalies. In the other 00.1% of cases with pilots who observe visual anomalies, 99.9% are able to figure out what is causing it.

The 00.01% of ones we hear about fall into 2 categories: 1) something they couldn’t figure out, 2) spotting a DBFO (dark budget flying object). Sure that makes it a UFO, but not one from outside our solar system.

Whenever I hear the word “pacing” us I usually go to reflection, or mirage theory.

Then when I hear it changes shape suddenly or moves around us at speeds beyond belief, I usually know the angle of the source or of the observer has changed.

He did the right thing to stow this experience for 30 years (and I’m guessing his Captain did the same). Usually (among aviation authorities) unexplained sightings without corroborating evidence indicates a loss of situational awareness or poor critical thinking.
