This! I have the WG and man the blue in the summer sun can't be beat! Trade if fo the WG. Inside in some light the WG dial looks black so you get 2 watches in one.

I bought it new, haven’t even peeled all of the stickers off yet. Got a fairly decent discount off RRP. Yet I don’t feel as fulfilled as I was expecting.

Maybe the chase of the grail was better than the destination. But I still find myself lusting for a handful of steel pieces. Watches I could have bought for the price of the sub.

I’ve had a 16600 SD. 1601 DJ. 1803 YG DD. And a 116710LN GMT. I used to look at my Seadweller and smile in awe. “It’s a Rolex and it’s mine” . The GMT was beautiful and a great all rounder.

The yellow gold sub is beautiful. Quite a substantial piece. Pun intended. I just don’t think the juice was worth the squeeze. YMMV.

The other models that seem to have my interest the most? I’d like a hulk, SS submariner date 116610LN, and a white explorer 2 216570.

My AD basically told me forget trying to get a hulk. List is 50+ long. Even a black sub is a reach. Told me a year on a white EXP2. Pretty frustrating on availability.

Anyone else feel the same way after buying a PM? Anyone get better availability after buying a PM?
I love the look and heft of gold, and if I ever buy another Rolex I intend for it to be PM, probably a Day-Date. I have tried on the blue dial version of your watch at an AD and the weight felt great on the wrist. It's not a watch for shy people though as any large gold watch really stands out.

The problem with the YG and TT Black sub is the white lettering.
Should have kept it gold like on the previous 5 digit .

Yes — I felt that way after owning my RG Daytona on OF for 3-4 months. I thought for sure that would be a piece I would love based on how amazing I thought it was in pics and the one other time I tried it on. But the pink hue that Rolex everose is known for really stood out with this watch, and eventually got me to part with it.

Bingo! That’s why I’m happy I bought my TT Sub in July while it was still available. Has the manly lugs too!!!

Buyers remorse isn’t only limited to watches.

I love wearing my DD RG and never get tired of it. For me it just seems to get better looking all the time.
