That red second hand really spices up the face of that watch, and I think the subs need a bit of dressing up. Good work.

All 3 Hands are YM hands, and everyone is entitled to their opinion

No matter what anyone says... that's awesome! I am saving the pics for future endeavors if you dont mind. Love the NATO strap as well. Red stripes really accent your second hand. Again, awesome!

I think it looks great, you took a watch for diving and made it better for your needs. You will not see anyone else with something like that on their wrist...

Is it also your daily wear watch?

I normally hate when people quote posts with lots of pics as I think it just messes up the thread but in this case its worth it!

Totally love the look of it in this guise!!! Congrats!!

I think your Sea Dweller looks great. One can make a serious argument that a matte black finish is actually preferable on a dive watch to decrease the flash of polished stainless steel and the possibility of provoking a Barracuda or similar fish. It looks like a great dive watch.

Are the YM hands 'fatter', besides having the red seconds hand?

Interesting look.

Not a fan of mod watches, but I have to say on this occasion you have done a great job! Very nicely done, I like it a lot.

Jason,
I think you did an amazing job on your 16600--one of kind.
I would kill me if you did it to a 1665 though.
The closest I've come to modifying my 16600 is to wear it on this mesh bracelet.
The fact that it's an OMEGA bracelet still makes me feel like a heretic.
By the way, how easily does PVD/DLC scratch off?
By the way number two, SubKing showed another interesting mod on the following thread.

Yes, the YM has maxi hands just like the LV Sub. I replaced the original hands with the Maxi hands for increased visibility underwater. The red second-hand is perfect for diving. At shallow depths, it is quite visible for timing safety-stops. At deeper depths, the second-hand disappears (red colors fade the deeper one goes underwater) which is advantageous since a diver does not want to be distracted, and the minute hand is the only hand that really matters at depth.

Very nice. The red hand gives it a nice pop.

The Original Pics of the Nato Band made me think of a Gucci Edition Rolex. haha.

Definitely like the swapped band.

After seeing the pictures of the PVDed original bracelet, I was surprised to find that I love your watch on ZULUs, but hate your watch on the PVDed original bracelet. Somehow its looks cheap and makes me worry that the bracelet will look terrible after the PVD coating starts to be worn/scratched off in places. Let's put the ZULU back on.

Mike
