I know we had fun in the summer at night. In fact, now that I think of it we rarely slept in the house during the summer once we hit 14 or so. We always slept outside unless it was raining.

Who told you about the chocolate chip pancakes? Because that's exactly what they had for breakfast.

Wouldn't you? Mmmm good.
Ethan has one friend who, whenever they all sleep out at his house, the mother buys a few rolls of chocolate chip cookie dough. The kids make giant cookies and a giant mess. The mother cleans up while the kids play basketball half the night. You'd think it would suck to be their neighbors sleeping to the sound of 4 or 5 teenagers playing basketball in the wee morning hours but it's a dead end and every house is owned by family.
Great kids living really good lives.

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments.

Really can't believe that random generator thingy selected me. Computers everywhere, I love you dearly and shall treat you with respect from this day forward.

And I love each and everyone of you in the coffeeshop. (apart from Carl)

This calls for a glass of Blue Nun.

Thomas you have to pledge to see them links. The 2013 pledge details will probably be announced in the next month at the top of the forums.

Wow. I miss all the good stuff.

I see that they're staying indoors (on ice, yet) until they acclimate.

Frosty!? I would have almost preferred that...

Just came back to my apartment for yet another horological week! It was more than foggy on the highway and it made it very difficult to see at times, sometimes I had trouble seeing anything further than 100 feet in front of me...

Worst thing is, it was almost spooky at times! The places where there were no lights were very, very dark while the white lights made the whole area look grey (for those who know, think of something that would look like a Silent Hill's level) and the yellow-ish lights made it look very orange, it made me feel like I was driving in hell!

Ah well, at least I made it!

I'm currently teaching my son to drive. He experienced fog for the first time last night. Glad it wasn't tonight as its much worse. Every experience helps. Just need to be careful and get home safely. In the end that's all that matters.

Indeed! When I got my "apprentice" license it was Winter, my father and my teacher showed me how to drive while there was snow, rain and ice all over the place. It does help!

I used to take my flight students into some pretty challenging conditions before I'd sign them off for long solo flights. I figured that if they scared themselves a few times when I was there to bail them out, they'd choose not to go there, or if they did find themselves in trouble, they've seen it before. It's what my instructor did for me, and I'm very grateful for it.
